There is no need to reserve seats and your ticket is valid for any connection on that day.
Transport from the Airport
In addition to the shuttle bus and the Graubunden Express detailed below, it is possible to travel on Swiss Federal Railways/Schweizerische Bundesbahnen (SBB) trains from different airports. From Chur you can only travel by Rhaetian Railway/Rhatische Bahn or by PostBus.

The SBB (Swiss Federal Railways/Schweizerische Bundesbahnen) and the RhB (Rhaetian Railway/ Rhatische Bahn) both offer luggage transport throughout the year as well as ski equipment transport in the winter. This means your luggage travels with you—station to station or door to door—leaving your hands and mind open to explore hassle-free.
Any car, motorcycle or campervan using the Swiss motorway are required to pay a road tax. Swiss rental cars already have a “vignette” showing proof of payment.
The regular price for a vignette (motorway road tax stickers) is 40.00 CHF 36 EUR. The vignette is valid from December 1st of the previous year to January 31st of the following year (printed on the vignette). If you have a trailer or a camper van, you are required to purchase an additional vignette. The autobahn vignette can be obtained from border posts, Swiss post offices, gas stations, or online. Pre-paying for your vignettes saves time at border crossings. The motorway vignette can be mailed to you or picked-up at airports in Zurich, Geneva and Basel.
Car transporters are a fantastic option for those who experience motion sickness from winding roads and/or for those who are short on time. Even if a destination looks like a short distance on the map, quite often, roads in the mountains take much longer to traverse due to single lanes and switchbacks, a.k.a. hairpin curves.
Graubunden has two car transporter trains: The Vereina Car Transporter and the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn.
Vereina Car Transporter: There is no quicker and easier way to get from Prattigau to Engadine than with the Vereina Car Transporter—a train that takes you and your car through the Vereina Tunnel in less than 20 minutes. The Vereina Car Transporter operates daily (every 30 minutes during peak times) all year round.
Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn: In the winter, the easiest way to traverse the Oberalp Pass between Andermatt and Sedrun is by the car transporter operated by Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn.
