Engadin

A total of over 240 glorious kilometers of top-quality trails with unrivalled scenic diversity, guaranteed snow and legendary conditions: cross-country ski enthusiasts from all over the world find their very own dream trails here.

Fans of the skating style have around 200 kilometers of trails to choose from. The generous width of the prepared trails allows devotees to unleash all their energy in this dynamic and exhilarating form of the sport. The range of trails is vast and with many variants:  The lake trails from Maloja to Champfèr are a highlight, where the feeling of gliding over the frozen Upper Engadin lakes gives you wings. Watch out for the Maloja wind. Whether you want to run with or against the wind is up to you - but at 13 kilometers, the direction can make a decisive difference!  

Cross-country skiing also has a lot to do with technique and balance. Learning to cross-country ski therefore also involves acquiring certain skills, which you can then put into practice on the trail.  Perfect for this are Engadin’s two skill parks in St. Moritz and Samedan.

In addition to the fantastic trails that offer cross-country skiing pleasure for all Nordic fans, Engadin’s three illuminated night trails provide that additional delight. For all those who can't get enough of Engadin’s silver-track paradise during the day or those who can only come post work, there is a total of eight kilometers of night trails in St. Moritz, Pontresina, and Zernez to choose from.

Davos Klosters

More than 100 kilometers of classic and 75 kilometers of skating pistes in Davos Klosters provide boundless variety!

Famous for its cross-country skiing, Davos Klosters is home to the annual Davos Nordic along with the FIS cross-country skiing World Cup. Needless to say, the trails are world class in their offering. That doesn´t mean the resort offers no dedicated areas for beginners. Rather, more than 100 kilometers of classic trails and 46 kilometers for skating are prepared. And for those who have four legged friends, there are also three specially marked dog trails, totalling 18.5 kilometers. All for dogs to romp alongside you as you carve your way through snow!   

Try the FIS trail in Flüetal or test the Bünda area in Davos Dorf. The Wolfgang course is considered one of the longer trails if you take traverse it there and back. Along the ´Landwasser´ you will even find a 15 kilometer long trail, also open for pups!


Guests who enjoy night skiing will have the chance every night until 9.30 pm and every Tuesday and Thursday night the slope is extended, adding that extra fun!

Need to improve your skills? Then head to the two Nordic Parks in Davos and Klosters. Two school houses dedicated to improving techniques for both adutls and children. Learn to run in figure 8s, drive over a seesaw, jump over a hill, skate or run on a mogul track. So much fun, you may not even need to hit the trails!

Flims Laax

If things are getting a little too fast on the mountain, there is a pleasant alternative available in Plaun, Bargis, Flims, Sagogn and Trin. Here, you have a diverse network of cross-country trails with 62 kilometers of double marked routes at your feet. Perfect for the first attempts at cross-country skiing, most of the trails in Laax are of easy level.

One of the most popular trails in the region is the high altitude trail in Bargis. With a length of 6 kilometers and a height of 1,552 m, expect to find wonderful winter vistas at your every turn.

You can even bring your furry friends. A dog cross-country trail is a blast!  

Sasogn boasts two trails that light up every Tuesday and Thursday and Trin offers night cross-country skiing every Wednesday.

For the ultimate experience, try your expertise at Biathlon. Two sports, one fascination. Biathlon certainly demands a lot from you. Strength for cross-country skiing, precision and concentration for shooting. But it's all in the name of exceptional fun and builds memories which last a lifetime.  

Available at the Roland Arena located around 5 kilometers from the village centre of Lenzerheide. Thanks to the multifunctional building, the arena has developed into a well-known sports hotspot and is a meeting place for elite and junior athletes, leisure athletes, clubs and sports associations. Anyone who feels like it can experience the sport of biathlon for themselves in a taster course, compete against each other in the family hit or fortify themselves with delicacies from the Bistro Bualino.

The first and so far, only permanently installed biathlon facility in Switzerland, the core of the Roland Arena is the World Cup compliant shooting range. In addition to the training and competition centre for national and international sports teams, the centre offers modern accommodation and restaurants.
