Some come to Davos to party, others for geopolitics, but its real beauty lies in the nearby valley of Dischma. Approximately 12 km (7.4 mi) in length, this is one of the longest tributary river valleys in Davos and an enchanting destination for an excursion. The glacier-fed Dischmabach is icy cold and clear as glass.
A popular place for hikers, the most exciting way to reach Dischma Valley's bright green pastures of snow-capped mountains and quaint little huts, is, of course, by horse-drawn carriage.
